WORKSHOP ON SDGs:

The aims and objectives of the workshop on “Localizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” focused on building institutional capacity for sectional heads which include the following aims and Objectives:


Aims:
1. To raise awareness among sectional heads about the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance in the institutional context.
2. To empower sectional heads with the knowledge and skills required to localize SDGs within their respective sections.
3. To foster a culture of sustainability and responsibility within the institution.

Objectives:
1. Understanding SDGs: Educate participants on the 17 SDGs, their targets, and the potential impact of each goal within the local context.
2. Capacity Building: Equip sectional heads with strategies and tools to integrate SDG-focused initiatives and practices into their daily operations.
3. Collaborative Planning: Encourage sectional heads to collaborate on developing action plans that align institutional goals with SDGs.
4. Institutional Policy Alignment: Guide participants on aligning their section’s policies with SDG objectives to foster a sustainable and responsible institutional environment.
5. Impact Assessment: Train sectional heads on methods to track and measure the impact of their initiatives toward achieving SDGs.


The workshop resource person is

Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Saand, he will help sectional heads to implement practical changes to contribute to the broader SDG agenda within QUEST Nawabshah aligned with its vision and mission.
