Vice Chancellor meets with Mevlana Exchange Programme 2019-20 Fellows

Students of Quaid -e- Awam University selected for the Mevlana Exchange Programme 2019 for a semester exchange at Karabuk University, Turkey met with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr Saleem Raza Samo. The Vice Chancellor congratulated them on winning the fellowship, citing it as one of the best opportunities during their undergraduate studies.


He wished them the best for them for the upcoming visit and expected on their return they shall disseminate the knowledge and experience gained in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Saleem Raza Samo also shared his own experience of similar kind at Thailand and England and provided students with tips of living in an entirely different culture and environment.

Total seven students of various departments have been awarded fully funded scholarship where as 11 students are provided tuition fees waive off. Dr Gordhan Valasai, focal person for Mevlana Exchange Programme also informed the students that their visa application is under process and partially funded students shall be helped to get accommodation during their study period. It is worth to mention that the students selected under this programme shall be facilitated by the university by arranging separated exams on their return and considering their attendance at Karabuk University valid at QUEST, Nawabshah.
