Imran Ali Channa is a licensed Professional Structural Engineer registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He is currently serving as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering Department at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST) since September 2022. He received his early education from home district Naushahro Feroze. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST) in 2012 and Master’s in Structural Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET) in 2016. He is also pursuing PhD in Civil Engineering from QUEST. Prior joining to academia, he got diverse experience in civil and structural engineering. After graduating in 2012, He worked for five years in building design as Structural engineer at consulting firm Alliance Consultants, followed by four years in the public sector as an Assistant Engineer with the Government of Sindh, after qualifying the CCE exam through SPSC. In 2022, he finally joined academia as a Lecturer at QUEST, fulfilling his aspiration to contribute to education and research. His industry experience enhanced his academic work, enabling him to bring practical insight into teaching and research.
