Biography

Dr. Asghar Ali is a Professor and Head of Department (HoD) of Artificial Intelligence at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, Pakistan. He obtained his BS(IT) degree in Information Technology from the University of Sindh, Pakistan, MS(IT) degree from QUEST, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. He was appointed as a Lecturer in the Information Technology Department, QUEST in 2010, Assistant Professor in 2016, Associate Professor in 2022 and Professor in 2025. Dr. Ali has made over 45 research contributions, including 32 peer-reviewed and 13 international conference research papers.
