Biography
Dr. Afzal is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at QUEST, Nawabshah, and currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Physics. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, specializing in algebraic curves over finite fields. His interests include theoretical physics, algebraic geometry, and topology. He has supervised Master’s students, produced one PhD graduate, and is currently supervising another PhD scholar. He is actively involved in teaching, research, and curriculum development, with a strong focus on inspiring students toward advanced learning and inquiry.
