Biography
Dr. Majid Hussain earned bachelor of engineering degree in Electronics from NED, Karachi. He got master degree in Telecommunication and Control Engineering and PhD degree Electronics from Mehran UET. He worked in Dadabhoy Energy Supply Company Limited as Assistant Manager where he got hands on experience on controls of switchgear systems of ABB, and other control and instrumentation systems of 4.8 MW power house powered by Diesel Engines of Wartsilla NSD. Later, he joined National Petro Carbon (NPC) as Instrument Engineer where he got experience on Distributed Control System (DCS) of ABB Freelance 2000. He joined Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology as a Lecturer and currently working as an Assistant Professor.
