Muzamil Mureed Tunio is not just a civil engineer by profession but also an architect. He believes that architecture has the power to shape lives, especially in places where climate and comfort often stand at odds. Currently serving as a Lab Engineer in the Department of Building and Architectural Engineering at QUEST Nawabshah, Muzamil combines his passion for thoughtful design, teaching, and research to bring meaningful change to the built environment. His journey into architecture began with a deep curiosity about how people live, adapt, and find comfort in spaces, particularly in harsh climates like that of Naushahro Feroze. After completing his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from QUEST Nawabshah, he worked with contractors and consultancies on various projects. Today, as a Lab Engineer, Muzamil teaches students to develop architectural and structural plans using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Lumion. He also guides open ended learning projects, encouraging creativity and problem solving. With a strong understanding of how poor design impacts daily life, his work focuses on human comfort, sustainability, and climate responsive housing.Beyond his technical skills, Muzamil is a dedicated educator. He teaches both Civil and Building and Architectural Engineering students, covering drawing, surveying, and design related subjects. Believing in practical and hands-on learning, especially in institutions with limited resources, he develops activities using simple and accessible tools like Excel and Climate Consultant. He is also a licensed Structural Engineer, registered with the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA)
