Establishment of department: One new and unique engineering department, “Energy and environment engineering department (The only department in Pakistan) has been establshed in Quaid-e-Awam University of Engg., Science and Technology (quest), nawabshah witn approved cost of pc-1 of rs. 173.920 million by personal efforts. This department offers four years B.E. course in energy and environment engg discipline.

Teaching and Research Experience
Have more than 25 years of teaching and research experience given as under:
Three years of research work, which was carried out at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) Manchester, UK led to the degree of Ph.D. This research work was mainly concerned with the study of building regulations, various energy conservation measures in buildings and their effects on national energy consumption. This study also involves strategies for greenhouse gas emission reduction regarding Kyoto protocol. Two years of research work was also carried at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok, Thailand led to the degree of M.Eng. This research work was mainly concerned with the study of low-grade fuel utilization using fluidized bed combustion technique and its effect on environmnet.
For more than twenty five (25) years I am involved in teaching at the under-graduate level and have been appointed as internal/external examiners at undergraduate as well as postgraduate level in various subjects such as Machine Design, Energy Technology, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Machines, Manufactureing Technology, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Vibrations, Chemical Engineering thermodynamics, Lubrication and Friction, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of materials etc., at the Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET) Jamshoro, Baluchistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar, Government Technical College at Nawabshah and Khairpur. Supervised more than 80 thesis projects in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Resources (Wind/Solar), Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Robotics etc. A number of projects supervised by me in the above areas have won awards/medals @ the national level competition.
