Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah is a public sector university recognized by the Higher
Education Commission, Islamabad and accredited with Pakistan Engineering Council.
Applications are invited on the prescribed Application Form from eligible candidates domiciled in the province of Sindh for admission at
Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah and QUEST Campus Larkano for First
Year of Bachelor degree program (four year) full time in the following disciplines under Regular and Self-Finance Scheme of the University against reserved quota. Candidates who have passed (HSC) Annual Examination, 2019, or before upto Annual Examination 2017, are eligible to apply for admission.

i) Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) (Pre-Engineering) with minimum 60% aggregate marks excluding the marks of Hifz-ul-Quran.
OR
Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the University (minimum 60% aggregate marks excluding the marks of Hifz-ul-Quran).
ii) Candidates, having passed Diploma of Associate Engineer in the relevant Technology i.e. (Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Chemical / Glass & Fibre Ceramics Technology) from B.T.E. Pakistan domiciled Sukkur Divisions, Larkano Divisions and District Shaheed Benazir Abad (Nawabshah) can also apply against reserved seats in relevant fields having minimum 60% aggregate marks excluding the marks of Hifz-ul-Quran.
iii) Candidates who passed Diploma of Associate Engineer in the relevant Technology from Board of Technical Education Pakistan having domiciles other than Sindh Provinces can also apply against the reserved seats only on Self finance Scheme.

NOTE: (i) Candidates passing SSC-II Annual examination before 2014 are not eligible for admission at the University.
NOTE: (ii) Candidates who appeared in the HSC-II Annual Examination, 2019 and are awaiting for the results are also eligible to apply for the admission under both the schemes. They will have to attach the “Appearance Certificate” issued from the office of the Principal of the concerned College showing seat number of the HSC Part-II examination and HSC-I Mark Certificate attached with the Admission Form. Additionally, it is mandatory that the candidates will have to send the “Mark Certificate of HSC Part-II” showing 60% marks and above within week’s time after the announcement of the result by the concerned Board to the office of the Chairman Admission, QUEST, Nawabshah. Candidates will have to mention clearly on the back of the “Marks Certificate” the “Application Form Number” and the category under which he/she has applied for admission and the district of his/her domicile. Only those candidates will be issued “Admit Cards” for appearing in the Pre-Admission Test who have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks. (Grace marks given by the Board for improvement of Grade shall not be counted).
PRE-ADMISSION TEST
All eligible aspirant candidates for seeking admission to any of B.E. / BS Program at Quaid-e-Awam University / Campus Larkano are required to appear in an MCQ type (written) Pre-Admission Test and have to obtain minimum score of 40 percent marks. Model paper of such test and other relevant information has been incorporated in the Prospectus. |
Pre-Admission Test has been scheduled on Sunday, 18th August, 2019 at 08:00 a.m. at QUEST, Nawabshah District Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh Pakistan. |
ADMISSION FORMS
Application forms for admission can be obtained from the following designated POST OFFICES from 28.06.2019 to 19.07.2019 on payment of Rs.3000/- only (includes Pre-Admission Test Fee), during working hours from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.. |

Application Form can also be obtained through Post Offices from the Admission office of QUEST, after a written request accompanied by Bank Draft of Rs.3000/- (including courier charges) in favour of Director Finance, QUEST, Nawabshah with a self addressed large envelope (size 11” x 15”).
Application Form duly completed in all respects with attested Photo Stat copies of the required documents can be submitted with the same designated Post Office from where application form was collected preferably it should be submitted within One day time (from the date of purchase) i.e .28.06.2019 to 19.07.2019.
SELF FINANCE SCHEME
Under this scheme various disciplines have been distributed in categories as under. The number of seats for each discipline have been reserved on district basis:
Category-I
Admission fee for First year Engineering B.E degree program (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical) is Rs.1,050, 000/- (Rupees One Million Fifty Thousand only) including Government Tax. The Bank Demand Draft should be prepared in favor of Director Finance, QUEST, Nawabshah or online deposit receipt and the same be attached with the Application Form.
Category-II
Admission fee for First year Engineering B.E degree program (Electronic, Computer Systems, Energy & Environment, Telecommunication & Chemical Engineering) is Rs.630, 000/- (Rupees Six Hundred Thirty Thousand only) including Government Tax. The Bank Demand Draft should be prepared in favor of Director Finance, QUEST, Nawabshah or online deposit receipt and the same be attached with the Application Form.
NOTE: Admission on Self Finance scheme for category-II will be made in case of availability of seats.
In case of admission under Self Finance Scheme in Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program
i. BS (Information Technology) is Rs.420, 000/- (Rupees Four Hundred Twenty Thousand only) including Government Tax.
i. BS (Computer Science) is Rs.315, 000/- (Rupees Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand only) including Government Tax
i. BS (Mathematics) is Rs.200, 000/- (Rupees Two Hundred Thousand only).
i. BS English (Language and Literature) is Rs.200, 000/- (Rupees Two Hundred Thousand only)
Note: No Application Form under Self Finance Scheme will be considered without original “Bank Demand Draft” as required Self Finance Fee (Installments are not allowed).
Eligible candidates from abroad can apply for admission on “Self Finance Basis” against the payment of US $ 10000/= (US dollar Ten Thousand only). The Bank Demand Draft should be prepared in favor of Director Finance, QUEST, Nawabshah subject to the condition the clearance is issued from the Government of Pakistan.

ADMIT CARDS/SLIPS FOR THE PRE-ADMISSION TEST
Admit Cards/ Slips for “Pre-Admission Test” will be dispatched through Post Offices up to 05.07. 2019. If any candidate does not receive his/her “Admit Card” latest by 06.08.2019, then he/she should contact with the Admission Office. In this case the duplicate slips will be issued up to 06.08.2019 on payment of Rs.300/- each. The candidates are required to report for the test latest by 08:00 a.m on the date and venue of the pre-admission test as mentioned.. |
SCHEDULE
→ Pre-Admission Test will be conducted on Sunday 18.08.2019.
→ The test result will be displayed on the website of the University by Sunday evening 18.08.2019.
→ Any claim for recounting of pre-admission test result will be entertained latest by 21.08.2019 for which a separate fee of Rs.1500/- will be charged along with written application.
→ Preliminary / Provisional net merit list will be issued on 08.09.2019 (for observation of the candidates). |
→ Any claim of correction in Preliminary / Provisional net merit list will be entertained upto 10.09.2019
→ Submission of original documents and Interview will be conducted on 16.09.2019 to 18.09.2019 as per schedule at Directorate of Post Graduate Studies Building of the University.
→ Classes of 19-Batch will commence on 30.09.2019
→ Prior to the classes, preliminary lectures of Mathematics subject for BS(IT), Pre-Medical group students will be arranged for two weeks. Separate schedule will be announced by the Chairman, BS (Infomration Technology). |
