The objective of the department is to serve as a centre of excellence in teaching and research in the fields of Electronic Engineering with a view to providing trained manpower for national development and to help improve the quality of life of the people by creating public awareness on the use of appropriate scientific and technological development.
Degree Program
The department offers a four-year (8 terms) prom leading to degree of BACHELOR OF ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING. It provides formal education in, Electronic Engineering through teaching, experimental work and industrial attachment to prepare students for careers as scientists, educators and engineers. The graduates of Electronic Engineering can find numerous placements in public as well as private sector / organization of the country as well as abroad.
.
Vision of the Department
To become a learning environment for quality education in the field of electronics to fulfill the requirement of national development
Mission of the Department
To produce skilled and professionally sound electronic engineers, capable of addressing emerging issues for economic prosperity and development
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The main objectives are to provide quality of education in Electronic Engineering in order to produce skilled graduates and to fulfill requirements in the field of Electronic Engineering. The program educational objectives (PEOs) are prepared by the OBE implementation committee and approved through the university bodies to enhance capabilities of students after completion of program. The PEOs of Electronic Engineering are:
1. PEO_1 : Graduates would be proficient engineers in multidisciplinary environment to meet the economical challenges and technological development.
2. PEO_2: Graduates would reflect moral and ethical values, professional attitude along with leadership skills.
3. PEO_3: Graduates would be able to support global community to produce sustainable environment.
